100% Xarel lo
Sparkling wine aged for 6 months in chestnut barrels
A wine that takes us on a journey to 10th century Olèrdola, when grapes were trampled and fermented with their skins in vats.
IGIGA takes its name from a landowner from Olèrdola who left a record of his cellar and vineyards. Even today, the press plate carved into the rock reminds us of that ancestral way of making wine.

Preparation
Organic grapes from the El Xeropet plot, planted in 1971 in Olèrdola and transported in glass. Manual harvest in 20 kg boxes.
The grapes are destemmed, trampled and fermented spontaneously with native yeasts. After 18 days in contact with the skins, the wine is aged for 6 months in a 1,000-liter chestnut barrel.
Tasting note

On the nose: Ripe fruit, such as pear and peach, with notes of lavender and undergrowth.
In the mouth: Broad, creamy and with silky tannins. Notes of toasted almond, wood and a subtle touch of salt appear. Long, mineral and persistent finish.
